Why is our Beehive Swing Car Different?
Our new Beehive Swing Car promises to be a very exciting addition to our ride-on range for 2020. Unlike other products on the market our Swing Cars have smooth soft edges with the mechanism well hidden. If you’re looking for something that little bit different, you’re in the right place!
Available in soft pastel colours they really do have a sense of style that stands out from the crowd. The gloss finish looks smart and coupled with the matte grey seating this ride-on toy is sure to be the envy of other riders and their parents.
How does a Beehive Swing Car Work?
These fun ride-ons allow children to explore using the movement in their arms, making them very different to the vast majority of ride-on toys in the marketplace that typically rely on being propelled by the lower body. By turning the steering wheel from left to right the clever wheels will send the Beehive Swing Car wiggling forwards or backwards. The degree to which it goes in either direction is directly proportional to the amount of steer the wheel is given.
Riders must learn, using their own skill and judgement, how to steer in the direction they want to go. Children love learning new skills and this toy will certainly keep them intrigued as they set themselves new challenges to navigate, both inside and out.
The Beehive Swing Car is recommended for 3+ but it proves a popular ride-on even for those much older. The novelty of having to learn something new appeals to all ages and is sure to provide hours of fun!
What are the benefits of a Beehive Swing Car to Children?
Children need to have a certain amount of balance to operate the Beehive Swing Car but if this is something they aren’t used to then this ride-on toy will really help. As they move from side to side their core stability will enable them to stay upright and the more they practice, the more stable they will become.
The under wheels are designed to refrain the Beehive Swing Car from tipping and keep children riding as safely as possible. Working their arms with these gentle left to right movements is great exercise and the perfect way to get children up and playing rather than in front of a screen, which many opt for all too easily in today’s world.
They’re a great toy to engage with friends too who may never have ridden anything like this before. Your child then gets to teach their friends something new whilst having fun in the process.
Where can you ride a Beehive Swing Car?
Smooth, harder surfaces are best where possible and big open spaces are ideal. So, in the garden, down at the park or in a school/village hall would be the best space to allow children to really go wild, but for many even just riding them around the home is a novelty.
